"To abolish all valleys is to get rid of all mountains."
Alan W. Watts
"Failure doesn't mean you are a failure... it just means you haven't succeeded yet."
Robert Schuller
Neuro Stress Release (NSR) is one of the techniques that uses applied kinesiology. Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a system that evaluates structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing often with other standard methods of diagnosis. There are many forms that have developed over the years and NSR is one of the latest and newest. Applied Kinesiology was first developed by George J. Goodheart, Jr., D.C., a chiropractor in the USA.
http://www.icakusa.com/akbasic/akbegin.html later Dr Carl E. Ferrerri DC developed Neuro Organisational Technique http://www.kinesiology.nu/courses/045.html which again evolved into NSR, designed by Australian Kinesiologist Peter O’Neill http://www.nsrworks.com
He combined the best of a number of techniques into one “easy for all to learn” technique which was first brought to Europe and the USA by Govert van Ginkel.
Applied Kinesiology assesses muscle tension and derives information from this to show physical or mental incongruence. The underlying philosophy is that emotional problems are caused by a disturbance, block or stagnation in the energy flow of the body. This occurs for instance in a situation in which a negative memory from the past surfaces for some reason. We call this a trigger.
To understand the “world” our brain uses the nervous system and the senses to make a simplified image of the millions of impulses we receive. It is said that only 1% of that information is being used. To understand this is to understand that we cannot know the world as it truly is. We have a very simplified version of what is there. Modern science proves this to be true. However, our brain learns by experience and stores the processed information for later reference. We call this memory. Memories combine with present experience and call up other memories. We call this association. This is how we learn. Fire is hot and a kiss is sweet. So, we have memories and associations and call them either positive or negative depending on the emotion that is associated with the memory or experience. Emotions come and go, that is the nature of emotion. Emotion is nothing more than E-motion; energy in motion. (There is a lot of discussion about what emotions really are but the general consensus is that the brain and the nervous system must have processed some form of information for it to occur. So, an emotion always appears after the fact and is a result of experienced physiological change.) The thing is that emotions leave an energetic charge behind in the body. With the memory is stored an emotional charge. So triggering a memory will result in experiencing that same charge again. “Negative” charge causes a physiological response: stress in body and mind, a chemical change we can measure using applied kinesiology. NSR offers an easy to learn and powerful tool to find the cause, clear the charge with the NSR eye technique and eliminate the problem. An available tool for all in getting to grips with your problems. You can now learn how to guide your own life and if needed a facilitator can help you look at the blind spots you have trouble defining. The NSR system however will show you all you need to know and will make you independent from therapy. This will empower your life, make you passionate and true to yourself. A technique you can apply any time, any where, any day. A technique you can apply to find out about yourself, your relationships, health issues etc.
If you break a leg, go see a doctor and have it fixed. If you want to find out why you broke your leg and how to clear any issues connected to that, practise NSR.
